Peruvian Torch Dried Skin
Price range: $68,00 through $348,00
Sustainably harvested and dehydrated skin of the Echinopsis peruviana (Peruvian Torch) cactus. Hand-selected for exceptional quality, de-spined, and slowly cured. Ideal for natural textile coloring, incense blending, and academic study.
Description
Our Peruvian Torch Dried Skin is sourced from the native highlands where Echinopsis peruviana grows robustly in mineral-rich soils. The outer green skin layers are harvested using sustainable pruning practices that promote branch regrowth. Every slice is de-spined, cleaned, and slowly cured to a stable dehydrated state without any heat treatment or chemical additives. The skin strips are rich in historic natural dyes, historically valued for producing deep forest-green and earth tones in traditional wool weaving. They also release a warm, grounding botanical aroma when used in incense burners. This premium specimen is offered strictly for chemical research, botanical identification, craft dyeing, or educational purposes. Not for human or animal consumption. For traditional species variations, see our San Pedro Cactus Dried Skin.
