Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our organic specimens, sustainable sourcing, shipping times, and returns.

Is San Pedro cactus legal in the United States?

Yes, cultivating and possessing live San Pedro (Echinopsis pachanoi) and Peruvian Torch (Echinopsis peruviana) cacti for ornamental or landscaping purposes is completely legal in the United States and most other countries. Our processed powders and skins are sold strictly as raw botanical reference specimens, decorative items, and natural textile dye materials to remain compliant with federal regulations.

How are orders packaged and shipped?

We package all orders in plain, unmarked, sturdy cardboard boxes or padded mailers to guarantee customer privacy. Internally, the botanical specimens are vacuum-sealed in food-grade, airtight, UV-blocking stand-up pouches. Labels contain the correct botanical classification and specifications.

Where does your cactus come from?

Our products are sourced directly from traditional nursery cultivators and family farms in the Peruvian Andes. We establish fair-trade agreements that support local rural families while ensuring that our specimens are grown organically without chemical fertilizers or synthetic sprays.

What is your sustainable harvesting policy?

We practice branch-pruning conservation. We only cut mature stems from healthy, established cacti, leaving the base and root system completely intact. This promotes healthy offset branching and preserves the parent plant, helping to prevent wild poaching and maintain native genetics.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on unopened, sealed products within 30 days of delivery. Due to the biological nature of raw plant materials, we cannot accept returns once the original vacuum seal has been opened or tampered with. For details, see our Refund & Returns Policy page.
